The Frogmask anti-pollution mask is mainly intended for urban travel (bicycle, motorcycle, scooter, etc.) but it can be used by anyone who wants to protect themselves from dust, pollution, pollen, etc. It also guarantees effective protection against bacteria, everything while maintaining very easy breathing.

It is neither a “medical surgical device” nor a “personal protective device (PPE)”

The 3D Mesh is ultra breathable and the 2 nasal rods prevent hot exhaled air from going up the nose, so very little fogging is formed.

The mask itself does not filter. It serves as a support and ensures the filter correctly fit with your face so that 100% of the air you breathe go through filters.

Filters meet the FFP2 standard, and guarantee a minimum filtration rate of 94% of airborn particles down to a size of 0.4 micron. These particles are responsible for serious health problems such as bacteria and other allergens present in the air (dust, pollen, smoke, etc.).

Exhalation valves are an outdated technology. Today, by using the latest generation of breathable fabrics, we can easily get rid of this. Depending on the mask, the surface occupied by the valve represents 5 to 10% of the filtering surface. It is therefore opposed to inspiration.

The results of the tests carried out show that exhaling with the Frogmask is easier than with a mask with valves and that it causes much less fogging for glasses wearers.

The valves placed on the side of most cycling masks are not effective since they are not in line with the flow of air exhaled through the mouth. The manufacturers of masks with valves and their specific filters ensure that you are obliged to buy their exclusive filters.

Valves are expensive and polluting plastic parts and are the main source of after-sales service (breakage and loss).

Finally, it does not protect others if the wearer of the mask has Covid for example, as the exhaled air is not filtered

FFP2 filters protect the wearer from Covid since 94% of the air inhaled is filtered.

The 3D Mesh used to make the mask is water-repellent so does not allow droplets to pass through.

Frogmask is available in sizes M, L and XL

The use of elastic materials and an adjustable Velcro fastener make it compatible with most adult faces, both men and women.

Our tests show that in the vast majority of cases: The XL mask corresponds to people measuring over 1m80 and weighing over 80kg

The L mask corresponds to people measuring over 1m70 and weighing over 70kg

The M mask corresponds to women (only) measuring over 1m60 and weighing over 50Kg.
The ties behind the head are too short for even a small man.

We do not recommend its use before the age of 14 due to size issues. If the mask does not fit the shape of the face well, it is not airtight and the inspired air will pass to the sides so it will not be filtered.

The Frogmask mask is compatible with all helmets: cyclists, jet motorcycle helmets or modular helmets but not full-face helmets which do not leave enough space between the mouth and the wall of the helmet.

The Frogmask mask is washable and reusable by hand or in the machine up to 60°C

Filters, on the other hand, are not washable and must be replaced regularly (2 to 3 weeks depending on frequency of use and dust or pollution level)

Here is the recommended procedure for washing your Frogmask:
1- Remove the filter from the mask
2- Immerse Frogmask in very hot water to disinfect it
3- Wash your mask by hand with soapy water
4- Rinse then let dry

The Frogmask has a very long lifespan (one to 2 years minimum) which will depend on the frequency of its use and maintenance.

The most fragile parts are the aluminum rod to be pinched at the nose and the Velcro, you have to take care of them.

Despite all the attention paid during manufacturing and rigorous quality control at the end of production, it may happen that a mask contains a manufacturing defect. In this case, it can be replaced by writing to contact@frogmask.eu

Frogmask masks are guaranteed for one year excluding normal wear and tear.

FFP2 filters filter 94% of particles thanks to 5 different layers which function like a sieve:
1- The first is made of non-woven Polypropylene filtering large particles
2- The second is made of non-woven Polypropylene filtering smaller particles
3- The third in nano fibers filters particles down to 0.4 microns
4- The fourth in non-woven cotton also filters particles down to 0.4 microns
5- The fifth in non-woven Polypropylene, very soft in contact with the skin, improves comfort

Filters are not washable and should be replaced when full (when breathing becomes more difficult) or dirty.

Filters are sold individually or in packs of 10 filters and 20 filters

Filters have an estimated expiration date of two years from their production date. It is advisable to keep them in their bag away from air and humidity. The date of manufacture of the filter is indicated on the instructions.

The duration of use of a filter depends on the pollution conditions and its frequency of use. With moderate use, I recommend replacing it every 2 to 3 weeks. For more intensive use, it will be necessary to change it more often.

A filter is full when breathing becomes more difficult but generally a filter becomes dirty more quickly than it is full.

Return costs are your responsibility (2 green stamps for a mask)

In the event of a refund, it will be made either via Paypal or to your credit card within 4 to 5 working days following receipt of the return, provided that the mask is not damaged.

French law imposes a withdrawal period of 14 days from the date of receipt of your order.
